The Investment Operations Analyst position offers an opportunity to be a core member to assist the Global Operations team in areas such as Clients Onboarding, Middle Office, Trade Management and 3rd Party Oversight.

Over time, we expect the role to broaden up to include advanced data analysis and interpretation that will directly affect the administration and documentation for our clients. In this position you will interact with multiple internal and external parties to ensure processes are efficient and high levels of client service are achieved.


The Role:

  • Interact directly with custodial banks by phone and email and download financial data from their websites
  • Reconcile the investment managers’ invoices according to fees in the corresponding investment management agreements
  • Gathering invoices and monitoring the received information from the managers in which our clients are invested. Follow up with managers and/or analysts when required
  • Prepare the packet with the reconciled documents for the Operations team in the Chicago office
  • Prepare and update quarterly reconciliation spreadsheets
  • Maintain and/or create manual procedures as well as document issues
  • Work closely with the US consulting teams on the monthly and quarterly information update for clients
  • Prepare and distribute monthly Group Trusts factsheets
  • Identify and anticipate potential issues, support lead analysts answering routine queries or doing research
The Requirements:
  • Technical career or Bachelor’s degree in Administrative science, Business, Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline


  • 2-3 years of experience in financial services operations is highly desirable
  • Proven effective oral and written communication skills in business English
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience working with Contracts is helpful
  • Ability to work independently or in a team to meet required project timelines
  • Ability to carry out qualitative and quantitative data collection and summarize key findings
  • Confidence to liaise with people at all levels in a variety of roles, locations and functions
  • Strong independent project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Keen attention to detail, with a logical and analytical method of working
  • Lead or participate in different projects or duties
  • Travel to the U.S. is required once or twice a year, starting in the first year, therefore having a U.S. Visa in place is a plus
