Work description
If you are a dedicated professional with experience in leading and coordinating a dedicated project team, this position is for you. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of SR1 projects, including sales, engineering, procurement, quality, Project / EPC, Customer / OEM, and others. It will also carry out an evaluation of project risks throughout the life of the project, identifying problems that jeopardize a successful completion of the project in the early stages, initiate corrective actions. coordinate the resolution of any technical or commercial conflict that may arise at any stage. It will act as the sole point of contact for John Crane to support the client from post-order activity to project delivery and will coordinate any resolution of the post-delivery problem while maintaining an open communication channel with the client’s OEM / EPC organization .
Duties and responsibilities
Compliance with customer contracts (deadlines, costs, objectives), closely monitor project budgets.
Create and maintain detailed execution schedules for each of the main projects that are your portfolio.
Agree on communication channels with the client in relation to the different aspects of the project.
Manage timely and effective communication with regional stakeholders to ensure effective coordination.
In conjunction with the local First Fit sales organization, communicate regularly with the EPC / OEM involved and maintain constant and up-to-date communication with your top-level project management.
Attend clarification / start-up meetings, etc., and prepare and distribute relevant activity reports.
Resolution of any conflict between the pre-designed agreement and the contractor or the standard OEM specification.
Discuss and resolve any technical or commercial conflict that may arise at any stage.
Work with global and local procurement to ensure that any long-term pre-contracting of items is made, that inventory is maintained and managed, that suppliers meet expectations, etc.
In conjunction with the manufacturing operations, the project is guaranteed to be completed according to the agreed schedule and budget of the client.
Develop and execute solutions when problems arise that could endanger any of these objectives.
Record project milestones and keep records of project correspondence and produce project closing summaries, including cost analysis.
Manage customer change requests to ensure an optimal solution for successful project delivery.
Direct frequent team calls to support project execution.
Provide monthly reports on the status of the project.
Other tasks of initiative of delivery of assigned projects.
The individual
Degree educated in a technical discipline. Electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering is preferred.
5-7 years of experience in oil and gas / petrochemical project businesses with at least 5 years working as a manager
